About FamPass

We were tired of Googling, too.

So we built the local guide we'd actually use ourselves. Every Saturday morning. Every rainy afternoon. Every long-weekend, what-should-we-do scramble.

The story

Started in a kitchen. Not a pitch deck.

FamPass began because two parents got tired of the same routine: Friday night, kids finally asleep, and a string of browser tabs across library calendars, museum sites, parks-and-rec PDFs from 2019, and one Instagram post a friend had screenshotted from somewhere.

We wanted one app that pulled it all together — honestly, without the marketing fluff, without the SEO-spam blog posts, without the pop-ups for newsletters we'd never read. Just: here's what's happening for kids near you. With dates. With directions. With actual age recommendations.

We started with our own neighborhoods. Library storytimes. The weekly farmers market. Open houses at the children's museum. Festivals we kept missing because we found out the day after. Then we added another city. Then another. We're still adding.

FamPass is built by parents, for parents. We use it ourselves, every weekend. The whole point is to spend less time researching and more time showing up.

What we believe

Four principles. No compromises.

We hold ourselves to these even when nobody's watching.

Family-first, always

Every listing passes through a content filter and human review. If it isn't safe for kids, it doesn't make the feed.

Honest sourcing

We credit every event's source. We don't pretend to know what we don't, and we don't pad the feed with things we'd skip ourselves.

No data resold

We don't sell your location, your kids' ages, your saves, or your search history. Premium revenue is how we keep the lights on.

Locally curated

Algorithms gather. Humans decide. A real person reviews what gets featured and what gets flagged.
